By no means the oldest, Fang would appear to be an odd choice for inheritance to the title of dominant after the death of her mother. The former DF was suspicious, cautious and prone to favoritism. Fang became a ham to her mother's wants in a child in hopes of inheriting her spot and after her mother's encounter with a rattle snake, the young meerkat's wish came true. The Acadia are yet to trust their new leader and some of the older females are turning a blind eye to her command. Fang has the task ahead of her of gaining her family's trust and support while finding a mate to take her side.

Though she loves her family, this meerkat has always been a dreamer and wants to from her own mob or go off on adventures some day. She adores her fiery six year old aunt and would follow her to the grave. Or, to a new mob, if that's the direction it goes.
